My landscape and
under water photography are a part of my search
for God's presence in the natural world. This
work attempts to express my faith and desire to
draw closer to God through that search.
In the past I have worked in a variety of formats and mediums. Hiking in the woods over the years, accompanied by 4x5 studio cameras, 35mm Nikons, 6x9 Crown Graphics, 4x5 Speed Graphics and now Nikon digital equipment. The tools are not the important part though. Amazing images are created in the heart of the artist.
I am head over heels in love with Florida. The beauty of this state is amazing. The Everglades, Facahatchee Strand, swamps, sloughs, beaches and trails call to me. I have an undeniable attraction to explore and capture the details and wide vistas that make this state captivate so many.
The underwater world is fascinating, mysterious and seductive. I have been drawn to the beauty under water most of my lifeand actively diving since 1998, exploring Gulf of Mexico reefs and wrecks, plunging into north Florida's springs and being awed by the amazing beauty of the Florida Keys.
